There are no packaged tours here. The experience is the hill itself: birds in the morning, trails through the plantation, animals at the pond after dark and a sky full of stars.
By day
Birdwatching
Birds fill the trees around the house. Wake up to birdsong and watch them from the balcony or while you walk.
Plantation walks
Walk through the coffee estates that surround the homestay on all four sides, with no neighbours and no crowds.
Trekking
Trek to Kavikal Gudda (1.5 km), Bande Kallu Gudda (8 km) and more. See all places around us.
The hilltop view
A hilltop is very close by and can be seen from the balcony. Sit with your morning tea and let the day begin slowly.
Digital detox
Put the phone away and follow the light. We have Wi-Fi if you need it, but nothing here asks for your attention.
Waterfall day trip
Ukkada Waterfall is 13 km away, an easy outing for a day from the homestay.
By night
Wildlife at the pond
After dark, animals such as bison, deer and wild boar come to the pond near the main gate. The place is safe, and you can watch from your stay.
Stargazing
With no city lights nearby, the sky on the hills is dark and clear. Step outside and look up.
Bonfire evenings
Bonfire facilities let you end the day outdoors, with the sounds of the plantation around you.
Good to know
This is a simple, non-commercialised homestay in a house that has not been renovated. Wildlife visits are natural, so sightings are never guaranteed. We keep things honest so you arrive knowing what to expect.
